Academy of Arthroscopy. Orthopedics school

In July 2020, a new, educational Orto Med Sport project has been launched; it includes a series of medical workshops addressed to medical students and residents. Participants are brought into the realm of orthopedics and advanced arthroscopy techniques, with the opportunity to train their skills on the 3D SIMBIONIX Systems Arthroscopy Simulator perfecting their arthroscopic skills, realistically reproducing the interior of the joint and work in the operating room.
 
These workshops are the fruit of collaboration between internationally recognized brands: Meden-Inmed (manufacturer and distributor of medical equipment) and Richard Group GmbH (manufacturer of equipment for endoscopic diagnosis and treatment). This training is delivered by Orto Med Sport specialists in a one-day course and covers expertise in arthroscopy and postoperative treatment. Participants get a chance to learn about the latest medical innovations, ready-made treatment and rehabilitation schemes successfully applied for years at the OMS.
 
The workshops are run in small groups of three people and are free of charge; however, registration applies (e-mail for registration: n.siuba@ortomedsport.pl).
Besides, each participant receive a med-package that includes: Bartłomiej Kacprzak’s textbook “Leczenie zachowawcze i operacyjne urazów stawu kolanowego” (“Conservative and surgical treatment of knee joint injuries”), surgical blouses and caps, and t-shirts.
