HUMAC NORM – assessment of readiness to return to sports

HUMAC NORM is offered exclusively by professional orthopedic clinics, hospitals, and research centers. As a specialist device used for measurements and physiotherapy, HUMAC NORM allows for setting the baseline level and goals and track patient progress. With this device, the specialist can:

• make 22 patterns of isolated joint movement
• apply four modes of operation (isokinetic, isometric, isotonic and passive)
• obtain various reports for clinicians and their measurement and exercise needs.
   

The exercises are designed so that the patient can work towards increasing strength, mobility, stability and movement control assisted by a physiotherapist. Adequate injured leg vs healthy leg (<10%) muscular power and strength compensation is one of the criteria for the return to sports and completion of treatment.
